Dr Wong is a board-certified ENT surgeon and specialist trained in Auckland, New Zealand, who aims to help his patients achieve optimal health.
Originating from Malaysia, Dr Wong graduated as a doctor from the University of Auckland in 2010. After graduating from medical school, he became a House Surgeon and Registrar in Auckland and Hamilton from 2011 to 2015. From 2016 to 2020, he completed advanced training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at different centres across the North Island. He was awarded Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2020.
In 2021, he was a Visiting Fellow in Otology and Neurotology at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney (University of Sydney). This opportunity allowed him to train under renowned experts in ear surgery in New South Wales, Australia.
Currently, Dr Wong is a qualified ENT surgeon in Auckland, subspecialising in disorders of the ears and sinuses. He has a public hospital employment at North Shore Hospital (Waitemata DHB) and also works part-time in private practice as an Otolaryngologist at MercyAscot Hospital and Ormiston Hospital.
Dr Wong also plays an active role in training future doctors at his alma mater, the University of Auckland. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter at home.
